Alright. This is a first. I still don't relish blogging, it's akin to revealing a very personal part of you to the public, but hey, there's an exhibitionist in everyone of us. No?

Anyway, it's been exactly a week since I've left Singapore for Illinois and I'm proud to say I'm more or less settled down. Internet connection's up. Web cam fixed (I know you guys miss my handsome face). My cell phone number's the old one, just add the necessary numbers in front. Yea, more or less.

We just 'saw' Rach and XH over webcam. Good stuff despite the flicker, flicker, slow-mo, slow-mo. Blame it on Rach's connection. It's so bloody slow that even the 158bucks web cam that TH bought for her didn't manage to save the day. Nonetheless, I've seen that XH had dyed her hair orangy-red. That girl. Dyed her hair right after I left. See how little I mean to her. Instead of crying her heart out under the blankets at home, she jovially went to change her hair color. Thank you very much.

UChic's pretty damn big and I get lost so often if not for my brother who's always there to give me directions over the cell. Didnt help that TH's sense of direction is just as bad. And we lost the goddamn student planner with the campus map.

I just cooked myself a large bowl of tom yam instant noodles. The sudden irresistable craving came after I saw that girl eat her tom yam handmade noodles. I'm smiling to myself recollecting how she tears whenever she eats spicy stuff. The way her ears turn red. The way her cheeks flush a brighter scarlet. And she never finishes the noodles because she's full from drinking whatever cold drinks she's bought to save her throat.

I can't help but wonder, how has my absence affected you there.

*slurp* wonderful noodles for the chilly weather. *brrr*
